Appointments

We aim to offer appointments on the same day.

calendarFrom the 1st Jan 2015 all appointments are now pre bookable up to 3 months in advance. Should you require an emergency appointment we will take your contact details and the Doctor or nurse will call you back and have a telephone consultation. It will be at the Doctor or nurses discretion to offer you an emergency appointment. Please be aware should you be offered an emergency appointment you may experience some delay as the Doctors and nurse will see their scheduled appointments first.

All afternoon and nursing appointments can be booked in advance by telephone or in person at the surgery.

Please remember an appointment is for one person and one problem only.

If required you may ask for a chaperone to accompany you during your consultation.

Telephone Contact

  • If you wish to speak to the practice nurse please telephone between 11:00 and 11:30.
  • If you wish to speak to a doctor, please telephone between 12:30 and 13:00.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
